My favourite day trip that we did in Rhodes was to Lindos. To start with pics from there, these are some from when we went up to the Lindos Acropolis. I've started with some pics of the ruins themselves, which were partially restored during the Italian Occupation.
In my last post I mentioned we did a tour in Rhodes. The next stop on that tour was Kritinia Fort, which was erected by the Knights of St. John during the 14th century AD. It's ruined now but it's fun to visit and get some spectacular views over nearby islands.
The ruined city of ancient Kamiros, on the island of Rhodes. We visited as part of a day tour and our guide gave us lots of amazing information about the place.

The 3 remaining windmills in Mandraki Harbor, Rhodes. They date from medieval times and were used to ground grain that came into the port, which itself as been here since the antiquity.
Some of the items on display at the Archaeological Museum of Rhodes. We visited last week and it was great to see items on display in their home islands, especially given how many Greek artefacts have been plundered over the years. There is a really good collection here, so this is just a glimpse really.
